Taiwan Red Jade Black Tea, also known as Taiwan Tea No. 18, is a unique black tea variety in Taiwan, cultivated by the Yuchi Branch of the Tea Improvement Farm of the Taiwan Agricultural Committee and published in 1999.
Red jade black tea is mainly cultivated in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan, and is used to make black tea. It features a deep red tea soup with cinnamon and mint aromas, a distinctive mint-cinnamon aroma and a sweet caramel flavor¹. This tea not only has the identity of the son of Taiwan, but also has a unique and strange aroma, with cool, woody, mushroom, sweet and fruity aromas, which is an irreplaceable breath of tea in other black tea-producing areas.
